What is the PhD seminar?
The PhD seminar, organised by AECPA and the university (or universities) that host it every year, aims to contribute to the training and academic relevance of third-cycle students: to help them define or strengthen their thesis projects, provide tools to improve the quality of their doctoral research and information on elements that will help towards the subsequent publication of the thesis, as well as development of their academic career.
Over the two days of the seminar, the students whose proposals were chosen to participate will present their thesis projects, receive comments from the teaching staff and participating students, and attend conferences related to the development of a thesis and of an academic career. A maximum of 12 PhD students will be admitted, preferably first- and second-year, and their room and board expenses will be covered during the Seminar. Transportation will be the responsibility of the PhD candidate. For further information on the seminar content, deadlines and the process to send proposals, check the current call for participants, the instructions on how to send the application and prior seminars.
