Call for a postdoctoral position in social and political science, University of Namur (Belgium)

The Research Institute Transitions (UNamur, Belgium) is pleased to announce a vacancy for one postdoctoral researcher (f/m) in social and political science on the CITIZEN IMPACT project. The project analyses whether, how and why citizens’ assemblies transform the functioning of the contemporary political systems. It focusses on the direct impact on policy, the indirect impact on civil society and the discursive impact on the public debate on democratic transformations.

CITIZEN IMPACT is funded by a European Research Council (ERC) starting grants and coordinated by Vincent Jacquet (F.R.S.-FNRS and UNamur). The postdoctoral researcher will be specifically in charge of comparing how CAs shape public discourses on democratic renewals across European political systems.
