Virtual Conference Sub-Saharan Africa and the Sustainable Development Goal

On the 23rd of April 2021, the Center for African Studies of the University of Porto will host
a virtual conference to explore the role of African Studies in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This conference aims to debate the African Studies contribution to the SDGs and how an area study, due to its multidisciplinary nature, can develop research to potentially address the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
This call invites researchers who want to contribute to the analysis of, and debates on the SDGs in the African Continent to submit their abstracts.
Submissions by young researchers or members from under-represented communities are particularly welcome.

The deadline for abstracts submission has been postponed from Thursday, 8th April, 2021 to Sunday, 11th April, 2021.

If you haven't already done so, you can send your abstract (in English) of no more than 300 words to ceaupsdgconference@gmail.comThe date for the event, however, 23rd April, 2021, remains unchanged.

Don't forget, also, to register your participation (whether or not you intend to submit an abstract) using the following address:
